ELLIE 'STORY NOW NAMED SASHA By Sharon Ann Robinson

We rescued Ellie  from waterfall kennels in January 2013.

I already had two cats, a rottie cross and a yorkshire terrier.

I originally went to Waterfall Kennels to look at another dog,but when we seen Ellie we fell in love with her.I had never owned a staffy before and was quite wary of them.We took Ellie for a walk and she clung to my hubbys legs with her paws and wouldnt let go.That was it she was definately coming home with us.

I was nervous and cautious at first as we didnt know any of her history or how she would take to my other animals. I was determined to make it work as Ellie now named Sasha was here to stay no matter how long it took us to get all my animals living freely with each other.

Using a muzzle and a crate we slowly introduced all of our animals to her.It took around 2-3 month before i could fully remove sasha's muzzle for good.

It was hard work stressful and tiring..but well worth it!

We now have three  dogs and two cats who now cuddle up and play together. No muzzles or crates anymore. We are all one big happy family. The best thing I ever did was to rescue a staffy. Cant imagine life without her now.

Thank you Waterfall Kennels and Maxi's mates! XXXX
