Maxi's Mates want to provide a safe haven for any stray dog in our area. To continue the work achieved at Waterfall kennels where they had a no kill policy for all dogs whether they are able to live with other dogs or not. To be able to keep the strays in comfortable kennels while they wait to be reunited or found forever homes or a rescue space. 
We need a local kennels for our strays and not for them to go out of the area. 
Its our aim to have a kennels where we will see that all dogs have their jabs and go to a home checked home. 
We also want to spay and neuter where possible or make sure the new owners will carry this operation out themselves in the very near future.
All dogs will be walked daily by caring volunteers and be given as much socialization and attention as possible.

We have a proposed site and we are at the planning permission stage-hopefully when approved this safe haven will become a much needed reality.
